Loves making a difference for Apex clients

Hello! I’m Erin. I’ve been with Apex for six years. Every day that I walk into the office, I feel like my voice matters and I can make a difference! Jim and Lucas have given me the freedom to work on special projects that help move Apex in a forward direction. The result is better service for our clients. I try to make accounting as simplified as possible for my clients so that the owner can focus on running their business.

Just got promoted.

When other people believe in you, you kind of believe in yourself even more. I just got promoted to Enterprise Division Leader (super excited!). In my new role, I will work on a strategic level with our clients by developing processes that support their financial efficiencies, as well as develop their growth goals over one-, three-, and five-year periods.

Attended St. Charles North High School. Go North Stars!

I enjoyed going to St. Charles North High School! I went on to attend Northern Illinois University in DeKalb and earned a degree in accounting. The Fox Valley is where we wanted to raise our children. We live in Geneva.

She’s known as: loyal, focused, diligent

These are generally the words people would use to describe me. I think a lot of who we are comes from our upbringing. I’m the baby of the family with two older brothers. My mom, who mainly stayed home with us, was a great example of someone who always put her family first. My dad owned his own dental practice in Bensenville, Ill. From him, I saw firsthand what it took to be a business owner. My dad worked long hours, treated his employees like family and is still adored by his patients even after retiring many years ago.

Stays one step ahead (most of the time) of her two young boys

Sometimes people ask me what I like to do in my spare time. I’m like, “What’s that?” These days, I spend a lot of time chasing my two active little boys around, but, someday, I would like to get more involved with helping other local families in the Fox Valley area. I love what Apex does to support CASA and the Luggage of Love program.
