Hi, I’m Lisa! Since I joined APEX, I have had the privilege of working with one of our major manufacturing clients, assisting them with Controller responsibilities. I am now transitioning into tax work, monthly accounting for key clients, and special projects.
Lisa gives back!
I’ve lived in Geneva since 1998 and love it here. For many years I volunteered at my church, Christ Community, running the welcome center, teaching Sunday school and leading Bible studies for women.
Her accounting experience goes deep
Working at Sikich and Capin Crouse was vital in shaping the direction of my career. Previous to public accounting I worked in corporate with limited access to other entities. Being an auditor for six years exposed me to hundreds of companies and their books. I worked with controllers and staff and learned a lot about how successful companies run and — more importantly — what doesn’t work.
On weekends, you’ll probably find her outside
As a mother of five, I love to hike and bike. I like all the national parks for different reasons, but one favorite is the Smokey Mountains. It is not as “grand” as some of the other parks but very green and full of wildlife which I absolutely love. My favorite fall dish: chicken noodle soup – homemade of course 😊.
